Well not really, maybe i didnt explained myself. I wanna get rid of the gap but custom fenders would change the shape of the truck IMO, I would rather lower it just wanna know what's the best way to do it.
What's the best way to lower my 07 kw9?

The front axles of trucks come with differing drops, I.e., how much lower the center is than the kingpins. So the right way to do it is to order a different front axle. This maintains stock suspension travel while raising the front wheels compared to the chassis, which is what you want.

I think you will have to shorten your driveline or it will have issues
-
If you have a W9 with an 8 bag suspension driveline angles wont be affected. I lowered mine 6 inches, anybody on here that says they are made high for a reason doesnt have a clue as you can spec them whatever way you want when they are new, now if you didnt buy it new and its not spec'ed to your liking its not that hard to change, like a few have said check to see if you have spacer blocks, those can be removed BUT dont touch the angled spacers as those are for alignment, check on back of your leaf springs what drop shackle you have, if you have the straight ones you can get off set shackles that will drop another 4", my W9 is 270wb and i dropped front 6", no issues with alignment, and drive angles are fine, i have 8 bag suspension and my mecanic/ alignment shop confirmed this, if you have other suspension angles could be affected but with a bit of brainstorming that can be dealt with as well. When I first got my truck i could put my travel mug on front tires now it sits flush with tire, and no they never rub as part of tire that swings out is not on top. I often get guys come and look at my front end and all love itMJ1657 Thanks this.

ok thanks I'll look into those things btw do you have any pics of your kw9? -
just make sure you get a whole truck alignment after whatever you do, make sure shes goin straight down the road.

He is absolutely right, after playing around with front end get truck alignment

Bgexpress would you happen to have the part numbers for the offset shackles? I'm sure a few of us on here would like them. Also did you do anything to lower the rear.
-
I dont have the part number as i had a 14600 lbs front suspension and my truck had been raised by previous owner, i put a 12000 springs on and removed massif blocks and was able to acheive this. My spring shop had the shackles on order but cancelled them after we saw results. If you find a good spring shop they should be able to find this. Unfortunately my shop wont give me number, he tells me to send guys his way and he will gladly help. I live just outside Montreal and thats a bit out of your way in sure

See if they KW offered a lower truck for car hauling applications and ask for a parts breakdown of your truck and one with the lowered suspension to compare parts. Our 379 Pete's are 5" lower than standard. Low-Low Air Leaf in the rear and a drop steer axle. Without a drop, we'd have a tough time getting anything but a compact car over the cab.
You may be able to get shorter shackles or a srings will less arch, but that changes suspension travel and shock length too and it's very limited on how much you can lower it. A drop axle changes very little except how high the spindle is mounted. IMO, it's the best way (although not cheap) to do it. but, you may get lucky and find a car hauler in a junkyard.
