Hello all. Just popping in to catch up. I can see .honeybadger is back to rotten luck, hope it gets better for you. Wow. How do you know you've read this thread a lot? Last Sunday JJ Watt made a great play against Oakland and I almost called him Honeybadger...lol. Maybe I'd better explain, he's from Wisconsin.
The Texans are 2-0! I remember saying that last year before we finished with 14 straight losses.
I hope everybody stays safe out there. It still amazes me how much one can learn from you all and for that I thank you. Have a great day.

There have been some wicked storms in southwest Missouri today. Flash flooding in Springfield and surrounding areas.
Add Minnesota, Nevada and Texas to the list of states with hyper DOT activity this week.
Hiya Road_Kill! I was thinking about you when I posted an article a couple of days ago. I don't know where you are planning on going to cdl school but beginning July 1, 2015 it says that the rules will change and that you must obtain your cdl in the state you reside in. (dennisroc, I thought about you also, but believe you have been checking into schools in your home state) I don't know how that is going to affect some of these carriers that provide their own training and schools. Anyway, just a heads up and something to think about.
I didn't know how that would work for a lease driver, honeybadger......especially since they told you where to take the truck and it was not possible for them to even do the work.Road_Kill Thanks this. -
They'll all have some way to change the "residence" of their students for the duration of the training. Then the students will return to their "home" state and do it all over.
HometimeQueen Thanks this. -
Thanks HTQ , I was thinking if I decide to drive that I would go to a school in Indiana but it seems like I heard some company schools have you show up with your permit from your state and then after you do your3-4 weeks training and driving with your trainer they will route you through your state and let you test in the company truck with the trainer standing by.
And some I think have you get your permit and CDL and then transfer them to your home state.
Not real sure about this but think I read it somewhere.HometimeQueen and Road_Kill Thank this. -
Wish they would hurry up with my truck. Ready to go home! !!!! Know HTQ feels the sAme way. She thinks I ought to get "reset". Lol
HometimeQueen Thanks this. -
Yep! I told him his programming was off and his mind definitely needed to be rebooted!

A little boy was attending his first wedding. After the service, his cousin asked him, "How many women can a man marry?" "Sixteen," the boy responded. His cousin was amazed that he had an answer so quickly. "How do you know that?" "Easy," the little boy said. "All you have to do is add it up, like the Bishop said: 4 better, 4 worse, 4 richer, 4 poorer"
dennisroc, jaso36 and gntorres61 Thank this. -
i don't think they have to do it all over , I think they can just transfer their license.

Note to self never show up early to Barnwell, Sc. again they will not load you early. There is 4 hours I won't get back. So much for my plans for this load. Good thing it is a drop-n-hook at the other end. Got to get rolling hard tomorrow to make up for this.
@ CR England they had you change your address to Ut. then transfer back to your home state. At least that is how they did it in 02 when I trained there.
Be safe out thereHometimeQueen and dennisroc Thank this. -
Finished delivery to walmart for a 3rd day in a row. Talk about punishment. Produce loads too. All early morning, 0315, 0430, 0500. Took truck for washout in KC at the Blue Beacon. Came to Olathe yard, to pick up Colorado toll pass. I remember running one back when I was with Abilene training with Big Brin. Now, my arse is sufficiently covered. Also needed new permits for NJ and NY and have the shop look at my check engine light. Truck had to go to the Kenworth dealer to check turbo. Had no clue. Truck was running fine. Spending the night in a bunk room here at the Olathe yard. My sheets dont even fit this bed! Oh well, least I am on my back and parallel to the floor. And it is cool in here. But Wifi is slow. Enough. Another crap week. I feel for you, Honeybadger! Deuces.
