That won't work unfortunately. Come to find out our account is essentially frozen until I can sign paperwork at the bank to clear the big charge that is holding everything up. Hubby's paid by direct deposit tonight but he won't be able to get to the money until I clear this mess up. I dropped in Ardmore and am waiting for a swap. Praying the guy gets here in the next two hours so I can start hauling butt!

We all take Emergen C, I make sure the King has a box in the truck with him also. That stuff is great and I think that is why we have had relatively minor cases of all these various germs.

That's where I messed up, Pete. The kids have been staying at home and I have been doing the shopping, etc., so I think I am the carrier!:biggrin_2557: Missouri has been hit hard by this Enterovirus that is going around the country. This virus has affected all ages but is especially hard on kids ....and then it lowers your immune system and there are 4 different types of the flu going around ....and whooping cough.

Seventeen states are now reporting suspected cases of this virus ....and it is not just a kid thing. So, SRQGhost is right .....get a box of Emergen C. It's about $10 a box for 30 packets. That goes for you too Mr. Cranky Yankee! If I remember right, Pete, you have asthma .....it is especially hard on folks with asthma.

HTQ, I'm sorry your daughter's been sick and that you now are. I wondered why you hadn't been on the thread much. Hope both of you will soon feel much better and your other daughter stays well!

NYC is at the top of the rude list. Thats crazy everyone there is so polite. LOL. I have always thought Utah was polite but that survey reads different but it has been a long time since I have driven there.

In Olive Branch, Ms. for the night have about 370 to go. Didn't want to drive through all the junk ahead of me now would rather do it at 0200. Is Waco anheiser busch a drop?

    Be safe out there

We have a pretty equal mix of company and lease drivers here, both current and former, Bandit. My husband was company for several years, I don't think he ever considered himself a yard jockey for any of the lease drivers. TransAm does do swaps, lease drivers can turn them down, company can't. Most of the time the swaps are because of one of several reasons.....the load was late coming out from the shipper, TransAm does hire new drivers and time management takes experience, or TransAm guarantees home time and you are swapping so that someone else can get home to their family. Many company drivers make equal to or even more than lease drivers on average. I don't know what the miles are averaging right now, but I am sure some of the regulars will tell you when they get online.

Thank you, jungHo. I'm feeling a little better this afternoon. Youngest daughter had the flu and I have the respiratory virus that is going around. I am just praying that neither one of the girls get this.

jaso, I don't know if it has changed or not, but every load the King had going to Waco was a live unload.
