Hope it goes well for you George just remember get and look a million times if you have to better to be slow and not hit anything than to be fast and hit something.

The Bud place seems nice. They told me they are about to go to lunch but they will start to unload me after. Put me in a door so I decided to update about this place. They have these guides on the ground for your tires but it is a tight fit.

    Time to nap.

    Be safe out there

Lease or company to me it does not make much difference as long as you have experience it depends on the individual, I was a company driver with Trans Am. Before my 3 months I was ready to quit, during a swap a lease driver convinced me to stay for a year, that was the best help I got, unfortunately I never see him again to thank him.

Just finished down here in Birmingham. Although I have passed through it, I never actually been in it. The downtown area is nice and clean. The people I have dealt with are really nice. I didn't have to blind side back into SFA dock. I got to go up the wrong way on. One way and sightside 90 it in. What a life saver. Still took me a little bit but got it. Yes I go old man slow, that way if I should hit something, damage will be minimal if at all. Thanks Jaso. Anyway, taking my 10 and waiting on a swap to Canton Ohio. Be safe and enjoy your weekend. Deuces.

I was just about to tell you George that that is the place where you make the illegal left turn on a one way street next to an FBI building with busted manhole covers everywhere lol.

I made it home. I've been awake since 4 am yesterday and am still insanely hopped up on caffeine. I parked at Loves and am hanging out at my mum's house. My hubby will come up later and we will all go out to eat. I got lucky! Hubby got the bank to issue my new debit card and he is bringing all the paperwork I need to sign to start the fraud claim and investigation!!! DM2 called earlier and the planners wanted to swap me here in Crestview with a load still going to Lakeland but it delivers tomorrow at 5am instead of Monday. I was like noooooo! I explained hubby got everything I need to handle yesterday afternoon and will be coming to me this afternoon to take care of it all. I told her there way no way I would be fit to drive overnight for 5am delivery and that she was already gone when hubby told me he got my card and the papers and we would take care of my stuff and that I decided that I would ease down to Lakeland and deliver Monday and manage my time to reload Monday afternoon. I couldn't sleep right now if I tried. Partly because I can't sleep during the day and because I have had so much caffeine in the last 14 hours I haven't reached the crash point yet LOL. She will call me later with whatever is going on. She knows I'm not in the truck today.

Geeze, don't get on for a few days, and have a bunch of pages to go thru and try to catch up with. Got a little tv'd out so am drinking coffee and doing needed stuff, like laundry and going thru the mail. 1st run thru got rid of about 60% of the junk. Bad news tho. Seems like I got a red light ticket, in my pickup, in Council bluffs. Already way late on payment since ticket was mailed here. Got to remember to call them 1st thing on Monday.

    Good afternoon everyone!
Good job, George! I knew you could do it.
jaso, I am glad that they are nice in Amarillo! The only reviews that I found were by employees that were happy to work there. I think happy workers are more driver friendly.
VooDoo Man, it is good to hear that you are doing well! You have a kind heart and always encouraging words for everyone.
See, honeybadger, I told ya .....an angel on your shoulder.
Panhandle, enjoy your time off .....and try to stay out of trouble!
    passport, are you doing ok?
Pete, are the frustrations of moving over with?

Does anyone know what the test you take after orientation and how many questions. What about the backing test is it a pass or fail thing. They said they sent you home if you fail. Just a grasp of the situation.

Aquarius to my knowledge there is no test but George would know better cause he went through it more recently.

They were quick once they came off their lunch break unloaded me in an hour. Just don't show up 0800 cause that is their lunch hour.

Waiting for some animal to die here in Amarillo then to Atlanta(Colorado Beef) then to Montgomery(winn Dixie) then to Miami(Quirch Food Miami Meats) 1911 total miles. Nice longest loaded miles I think I have had here. If anyone knows about any of these stops I would appreciate the info. Hope they have this ready for me right after midnight that is my favorite time to roll. Less people to deal with on the road.

George happy to hear it went well for you. I have gone down the wrong way on a one way a few times to avoid a tight blind side back.

    Be safe out there
