I try not to drink any when I am not working. When teaching or driving a truck I start up again. Only a small cup at the start of my six month driving campaign, up to 3-4 by the end.
A McDonald's small can give me a jolt since I don't drink the manly man type of coffee that you likely drink. Mine is usually mostly French vanilla cream and sugar.
I am also a girl, drink, drunk. If it is sweet, fruity and comes with a little umbrella, I am in!

My OTR favorite used to be the Sumatra blend that PFJ sold until the supplier priced themselves out of the market. Large Pilot mug at least once a day. Off duty it's a venti quad vanilla latte from Starbucks. Both are yummy.

IMHO "Test" is a very strong word for anything that goes on at TransAm orientation. They are really just training and good on them for that. They use a "test" just to motivate you to pay attention.
Handbook "test" just so you do read and understand the handbook. Driving range "test" just to teach you to get out and look in tight spots on the range so you will get in the habit to do it out in the real world while you are learning. A road "test" just to teach you to read your road signs while you are driving.gntorres61 and HometimeQueen Thank this. -

When I am in America my family always laughs at me because I love gas station / truck stop coffee. I always get the 24 oz. Dark Blend , Colombian if they have it and drink it black. Great taste !!!
I always say I like my coffee like I like my women ................ Cold and bitter.

The King has once again managed to baby his truck and make it home. Three out of 5 weekends it has been at Peterbilt of Springfield, and would be in there a fourth weekend but they have 146 trucks ahead of him.....most likely because they didn't fix problems to begin with. He will take it to St. Louis tomorrow and most likely get another truck while they work on his. It's been a problem free truck for 150,000 miles until Springfield worked on it. I was happy that they didn't have a truck available for him here ....it meant they weren't getting a chance to work on it again!

HoneyBadger, I have been keeping up with your posts. I am glad you keep your sense of humor in times of stress. The idea of gummy bears and the irony of using "safety" triangles as a weapon toward traffic fatheads makes me smile.
I am glad your debt card came in, I think things will get sorted out and turn around for you now. I can feel it!HometimeQueen Thanks this. -
Lol, funny Dennis. You do need to like your coffee cold in America. Since I have come back from Asia, I have noticed you can not get coffee served truly hot.
Have you noticed Dennis? I wonder if it has something to do with the famous lawsuit where an older woman sued McDonald's when she spilled hot coffee on herself at a drive thru. In Asia, they still serve stuff, wonderfully, dangerously hot. Not so in America. -
I lived in and went to college in Taxachusetts and my parents were from New Hampshire back when DD was a New England regional company. My favorite was their coffee and two lemon-filled donuts. Anytime. Unfortunately, I'm in a DD dead zone, so SB is what I have.
