unless you live in a state where points are assessed to your license such as California, ny....etc....etc....
is the only way any points get assessed to a driver. Which these points are different from csa points that get assessed only to the companies.
Again, the driver doesn't get assessed csa points only the company does. The driver has the violations noted on psp.
as far as his driving career I think he cooked on the wreckless driving issue.NavigatorWife Thanks this. -

While I have to say IMHO many of the newer redesigned interstate hills do have a slower than necessary speed limit....but it is what it is...and there is absolutely no ARGUING that the old adage about how many times you can go too slow down a hill vs too fast...always stands...and when you look at the overall affect of slowin down a little for a couple of miles....at the end of a 6 or 7hundred mile day....you should realize how meaningless those few minutes really are vs the possible consequences....
so a really good lesson here 4 some of the newer folks here....& I'm not saying this to start the whole exp inexp thing....but the simple fact if the matter is....those of us who are still out here after 20plus years...learned it long ago....because those that didn't aren't out here anymore....and I beleive this gentleman has just joined their ranks....
oh & to the poster who has Never had an officer flash them(or any other signal) to slow down...it WAS common practice for a lot of years...course that's when we all respected each other& worked together.....i know I'm old...but I do Miss those dayspeterd, KW Cajun, AfterShock and 8 others Thank this. -
it used to be more common normally these days they just pull you over and write you a citation to warn you. i did have one flash there lights at me a few years back though on a 2 lane in a bobtail that i had never driving before. i kept thinking it felt like i was speeding but the speedo was saying i was good. seen the lights come on started slowing down to pull over and he turned them off and continued on his way. called someone more fimilar with the truck i was driving and they said the speedo was slow by 10mph. that was probably the first time in probably well over 5 years sense iv had a cop just flash his lights at me to warn me to slow down.Skydivedavec Thanks this.

Back in the day, as the saying goes, I've seen LEO in the grass turn on their disco lights as you went by them if you were running a little too fast for their liking.
peterd, snowblind and Skydivedavec Thank this. -
Same goes with black Mountain in north Carolina on I40.
Skydivedavec Thanks this. -
What's the respectively means when issued 5 additional points?

For sure. You would think the mandatory information pull-off, speed limit signs posted every 200 ft, and state cops sitting everywhere would be a clue but I still get passed by guys doing at least 20 over.

I have, a few times. This story starts on the open freeway out west, 65 MPH was the posted limit. Along comes a construction zone, with it's dropped speed. In the construction zone was a rest area, that I stopped at, rested, then got back on the highway. As I was exiting the rest area, I come upon the classic "End Construction" sign. I sped up to 65, and set the cruise. A few minutes later a State Trooper is passing me... slooooowly passing me. As he gets in front of me, he turns on his rear facing 'wig wag,' or 'excuse me' lights, and slows down.... I do the same, (this is like a traffic break, he needs me to slow down for some reason.) As we both get to 55 MPH, he turns off his 'flashers,' speeds up a bit, and pulls away. Soon thereafter I realize that the speed had dropped in the construction zone, but THAT sign was covered, 'cause the zone speed was slower then it. I thanked the cop via the cb, and would you believe, that he gave me one 'flash' on his left side 'wig wag' light!
