Jaso, the Winn Dixie in Montgomery is great. Not too far off the interstate and the do have a staging lot you can park overnight in! I like that one.

Glad I got my bank mess sorted. Had dinner with my mum and husband. Now I'm about to pass out. No more caffeine for a while.....

 

I never drink coffee. Hate the stuff. 5 hour energy drinks for me and I buy 1 gallon of water and make my own ice tea, just buy a cup of ice in the truck stops.

Load not ready yet but is getting loaded right now they say. I have never been in this place and not had to wait. Guess I get to listen to the games on the radio.

And .... some of those places DO treat drivers like a bunch of cattle .....they herd you here and herd you there.....and then they keep you in their staging area where they are holding you up and keeping you from moving on down the road. So,even though I know it's called a staging area ....I call it the holding lot.

 

I'm glad that you were able to get everything straightened out, honeybadger, and enjoyed some time with your family. Don't you just love the hassle of our modern day conveniences?? A few years ago our bank had debited our account for someone else's automatic payment and yet would not return the money to our account within a reasonable time period .....said it was going to take 60 days to get our money back. At the time I was stuck at home in a wheelchair, I finally told this rude person in accounting that I was stuck at home, didn't watch television and had nothing better to do than to call him MANY times every day until they returned the money to our account.....I couldn't go to work so I would just make it my job to make his life as miserable as possible. Also if he tried to just refuse my calls, I had a list of phone numbers for every bank officer and executive there. Had the money back by the next day.

 

GRRR the right turn signal is not working in this trailer. Waiting for someone to come repair it. I tried cleaning out the pigtail and wiggling it when the cleaning didn't work. Should have just rolled went to a TA for my break and then told them about it and got it fixed on my break. Better this way but I hate delays. Got to love trucking sometimes. Guess I will roll only 550 today

 

Currently in Atlanta at the petro waiting to deliver on tommorrow. Then my second stop is in orange county fl. I been doing a lot of night driving latety.

Sitting here at the Flying J in San Antonio Florida. Made a mad overnight dash from Birmingham to Lakeland Florida just to get here 4 hours late for my delivery. Appointment time doomed when I got the load. Forget the gps route and the fuel solution. Interstate all the way. Left Birmingham at 930 eastern last night got to Colorado Boxed Beef just after 9am. No stopping to sleep. Drank a cup of coffee black no creme or sugar. I NEVER DRINK COFFEE. Desperate measures to git r dun. Gonna shower and meet my parents for dinner, even if its Dennys, who cares. Stoked about this. Tomorrow Noon delivery in Miami, and 10pm at Publix in Deerfield Beach. 10 pm seems weird, no? Anyway, laundry tonite and a good night sleep. Need one after yesterday and today. Sleep deprivation psychoses is setting in. Deuces everybody.
