Yea, some kind of scam. They had an ad on craigslist here in South Jersey. Said they wanted 2 years experience, which I have. Never had an accident, never had a dui, etc. I filled out an app., lady there said she was going to run my license etc. About 4 days later I emailed her to ask if I was still be considered as I hadn't heard anything, and I did have another job offer. She said oh they really want someone with more experience, so if you can find someone to team with, then basically we could hire you. What a joke. I should have called her bluff! LOL! So anyway these people are scammers, liars!:biggrin_25525: And they ALWAYS have an add on craigslist for South Jersey. Actually that says something, and it aint good!

Thats funny i applyed and they called me the next day asking me when i can start then again i only live 35 minutes from their yard of course i turned them down cause health insurance was way too high over 70 per week for single and you only make 900-1000 per week at .36 cpm plus somebody said they turned the trucks down to 62mph on the plus they run alot of texas and midwest no nyc or canada but no way im i sleeping in a truck for that shame cause their old freightliner classics use to run.

Health insurance is pretty lousy, trucks are 65mph, mine was 65 pedal and cruise, driver picked me up at the T/A in Ashland VA (they arranged that) drove me to shoemakersville, PA was told keys were inside the truck I was to drive and go ahead and sleep in the truck. 2 day orientation and 2 days in the truck. There is a driver break room with a sofa and color TV but no bathroom. Facilities are a porta potty located outside next to the guard shack. Lunch is on you. They won't feed or house you. Deposits on everything from thermometers to EZ Pass, you'll be paying about 4 deposits for various items which will be refunded to you when you quit or retire or get discharged. A typical load leaving out will be cream cheese going to Houston, miles are there, people are nice but stingy. If you can deal with that then you'll be fine.

In other words they are ignorant people. that goes to show you what they think of their drivers. Oh and NO shower? Just get in the truck, sleep there for 2 days, use the porta potty and NO shower??? What a bunch of SCUM BAGS!!!

Oh P.S. if the people were nice they wouldn't of had you stay in the truck for two days, while you were in orientation. NO SHOWER??? what a bunch of SCUM BAGS!!! :biggrin_25523:

Lol yea I guess you're right Jerzeegirlc. Lol if they cared about us they would've had a motel booked for orientation. I didn't see a shower. I only stayed one month. Of course they have their core diehard Bell drivers, but very high turnover. But good luck to anyone wanting to go here.

I never could understand why anyone would set the cruise governor above the pedal governor.
