In Marrianna, Fl. for the night. Should be able to see my parents for early lunch or late breakfast. We will see. Have to be in Miami for Thursday 1200 delivery. No preplan yet but will try again tomorrow to see if they get one on me.
The post up about the rules for PC is interesting cause I do not know if you guys know this but if you violate the log book and a couple of months down the road are in a non preventable accident with another vehicle it will automatically be considered preventable cause you violated the log book. If you had done it right you would not have been there for that accident to have happened. Just something to think about. Some states get very strict on this and go after you for this violation. You can not PC if you have a trailer on or reposition equipement. I understand that Trans Am lets us get away with it but if you get caught by DOT or in an accident Trans Am will do what is best for them and if that means leaving you to hang then that is what will happen. They are not going to risk millions for one driver. Have to be careful with any kind of cheating the logbook cause in some cases drivers have gone to jail but it is usually fines and they are usually in the thousands. Just some food for thought and so you know the risks when you use PC and it is not according to the rules.

I was talking to an Indiana commercial officer while be was checking my paperwork at a weigh station. He said that personal conveyance citations were among the most common in Indiana, usually because drivers were hauling an empty trailer on their way home or some place. That's why I'm very extra careful and avoid using it as much as possible. I'm not much of a risk taker.

^ ^ Typical.., because you're a female, he's got to give you a hard time! Seriously?! Wonder if he'd give the King a hard time, probably not! Good for you, HTQ, being polite! Bet you were more professional than Mr. Plumber!!
