Thanks HTQ for the info about the King's company. It does sound interesting.

I posted my story about Monday as that is what we do here. Talk about the good, bad and the ugly as drivers and help each other. My problem could have been handled if they had made it a priority to contact me and let me know I did not have to hustle up to make on time delivery at my last stop since there was a problem with the appointment. I would have been disappointed but I could have taken a full break, slept in and waited it out at a more comfortable place with proper facilities. I would not have been stuck on a locked down urban street without even a place to wash my hands.

I fired up a blow torch at TransAm over the last few day, working my way up the chain of command. The ship has turned around and appropriate people have contacted me, fully discussed my issues and have satisfied me that they want to treat me in the right way as a driver. They don't get the "TransAm Rocks" headbanger at this time ... but I will show some appreciation that they did work on my case and I will work with them to move freight and be a good team player.

Thanks for the support. I do find it very helpful to post here and get stuff off my chest.

Hometime, still no signs of plumber? You should line up one of the guys to show up with tractor/trailer and kidnap him?! Course I like your basement scenario too. He needs to be taught a lesson on respect for customers!

My company takes 2 years experience tho, they hired an ex TA driver here with one. Another one from TA came here and impressed Steve right up to the point that he said he was bringing his truck. This company doesn't do O\O's. Is nice to know, that there is a success story from tA out there.

Got my next load to pick up in Leesburg then onto Longmont, Co. So I figured 50 miles out of route see my parents again and stay the night. I like home cooked meals.

jungho I did get swim in their pool yesterday but too much chlorine so it was short and sweet.

    Be safe out there

Well after chasing aborted swaps in Dalton GA, and Nashville TN, finally caught up with one less than an hour north in Oak Grove KY. A two dropper that will take me home albeit a day late. Drops in Monroe GA tomorrow evening and Henderson NC Sat evening, both before 6pm. Decided to spend the night here and relax a little. Tired of running at night. Nice to get back on a day schedule. Last night was a killer Ocala FL to Nashville with a wasted stop in Dalton GA. Met my swap here at 5pm central. All that needless night driving. Had headaches all day. Will start fresh in the morning when I can see where I am going. Even if its off a cliff, LOL. Deuces.

Well, my plumber, David, sent his dad out here. Poor older fella could barely get up and down and acted like he was in pain. I asked him if he was ok and he tells me that his ribs are broken.....and that David did it! Then he tells me he was choking the other day and David had been a little too enthusiastic trying to dislodge whatever was choking him. Needless to say, He did NOT get my drain line fixed. David can not be here until Saturday. Can we say frustrated?
