I am going through Dallas less traffic plus no hills compared to the other way. 75-10-us98-us49-20-us287 should be much better than the other way. HTQ I tried to respond before and thank you for the input but my wifi card is not getting good reception. Thank you HTQ

Honeybadger hope you get your truck fixed and quick

Unlike most people, I freely admit to what I am, a dirty old man!!! :biggrin_2555: I have a filter, just don't bother to use it much. :biggrin_25525: Queenie gets picked on cause she elected herself our queen and cause she's a really good egg. She gives as much as she gets, and can be a lot of fun. :biggrin_25514:

World is getting crazy and am beginning to wonder if the end is truly coming. When a whack job can behead a woman in the states..... man oh man. Have picked up at the food place she was killed at before.

I see trouble coming around the corner and coming quickly. I feel sorry for most of the one of muslim faith in the US and I feel sorry for us. We are going to lose even more rights and privacy on this "war on terror", than we have already lost on the "war on drugs". Hope I'm gone before we lose all our freedoms!!!

Dennis.... you having any problems with accessing your banking accounts? Just read an article, about banks closing ex pats acounts, due to the US government's draconian measures to stop secret accounts etc.

Got to the Walmart DC in Monroe GA 90 minutes late and was turned away. Left too late from Oak Grove KY, but didn't wan t to start my clock too early and run out of my 14 like the last time I was in ATL. I 285 was the great american parking lot. Friday afternoon at 4pm. My delivery in Henderson NC will probably be rescheduled to Sunday afternoon. Was supposed to be home tonite. Oh well, life stinks. I knew there was a truck stop in Monroe, but didn't know it was next to the WalmartDC and Walmart as overnite parking next to the truck stop. Nice. Had dinner at Katys Diner inside the Walton Truck Stop. I really like those homey places like that. Reminded me of the Kwik Mart 81 in Marlowe OK. Had a 12 oz NY strip with grilled shrimp for 14.99. Not bad! Making the most of a tough situation. It could be worse. Notified night dispatch, but no one has gotten back to me about reschedulining my drops. Love being ignored. Probably Tessa will have to take care of it. Deuces.

Yes I have been reading that but so far they are working normal.
My pay goes to Chase in The States and my wife has an account here in Korea where she gets paid.
We have an account in South Africa and also the Philippines.
For all these years we have never had a problem.

A coworker is building a house in the Philippines and sends quite a lot of money per week there through western union . Last week they told him he was blocked because he was sending too much money. He is checking on why and should find out soon.

I have no idea what's going on. My company works for and has a contract with the US Gov. , if they don't pay me I won't fix their airplanes. :biggrin_2559:

You are most welcome, jaso. Going through Dallas did look ever so much easier ....I think even though it's a few more miles it will be an easier haul and save you time in the long run, especially if you can get through Dallas at a good time.

Hang in there, George! We all have those weeks .....I'm having one with the plumbing situation. I was feeling overwhelmed by all of it this evening. I had to give myself a stern talking to! :biggrin_25526: Getting home safe and sound, knowing jungHo is there waiting ....and that she has spent all of this time cooking for you....those are the important things. Enjoy your home time!

honeybadger, did everything get fixed and did you find a safe place for the night? Hope all is well and that you are enjoying your cookies.

Panhandle, I figured that some of you had probably been to that food DC. There are no words for what happened there. I truly do not know what the answers are anymore.....but I am with you, I bet we won't like whatever they come up with.

The King got home about an hour earlier than I expected him. I had to run out and move my jeep.....ever since the big old snake was under it, my daughter has been making me park right in the middle of the driveway, so that we can look all around before we get in it! It was weird not to see the "Mighty Whitey" pull in the drive today. (That's his truck's name, he always called his TA truck "Pig") He has a loaner truck, it's a couple of years older than his, it's a 2011, but he actually likes some things about it better than he does the newer truck.

I know of what you speak. I think I already lost my Thai back account due to US government pressure. It was only a few hundred dollars. I will check on it next time I go back.

As far as Korea, the Korean gov has always been VERY strict on their own. If you are a foreigner earning money in Korea, you are already treated very near to the status of criminal. Free trade .. ha!
