Well guess I don't keep up with it for the most part anyways.
I have an old unlimited VZW Plan and use the Hotspot on my phone.
Did you call/complain?
Sometimes they will give you another 24h for Free or whatever.
Now that I think about it....Wandering Wifi owes me like 24 hours for free from way back..
They can keep it though

if you have a smart phone, have you cell provider activate the mobil hot spot located in the settings.
It's been years since i have had to use a truck stop wifi service, that may or may not work, even if your parked 50 feet from the building -
It is, until about 7 PM. After that, you're not getting anything with all the parked truckers trying to get their pr0n fix.

Many of the Travel Centers (not all) in the AMBEST group have free WiFi. Shoemacher's in Lincoln as was mentioned earlier, has super fast free WiFi is part of AMBEST. http://www.am-best.com/AMBEST-Interactive-Map.cfm

Some of the ma & pa truckstops might have free wifi, like everyone already mentioned, the large chains you'll have to pay to use. Pilot charges about $5/day, $20/month, or $150/year. But their system is a line of sight setup meaning, if you can't see the antenna, don't expect to pick up a good signal. And like MsJamie said, expect the bandwidth to go down as the truckstop fills up.

I hooked up to TA wifi in North Bend, WA. Worked 90% of the time but the signal wasn't stable enough for video watching, pr0n or otherwise. Worked for websites which is what I needed.
