Couldn't happen to a nicer bunch of folks. Piss on Greyhound!
taxihacker66 and allniter Thank this. -
Only problem is. It means nothing to the general public.
-
That must have been embarrassing, for the Driver and the company. What does anyone do with a bunch of passengers all standing around a chicken-coop with bags in hand ?
allniter Thanks this. -
Good job Anthony, NM DOT! Doesn't happen nearly enough...
taxihacker66 Thanks this. -
That's the first time I've ever heard of a greyhound or any other bus lines bus sitting at a coop, I've definitely NEVER seen it personally.
-
Oh hell, the SB scale at Raton used to regularly shutdown the "run for the Border" buses coming down from Denver. Rolled through there late one Sunday night and there were three of them. Seems the first bus was OOS for bad tires, the bus sent to pick up those passengers was OOS was for faulty exhaust, the third bus shut off and wouldn't restart as the passengers were getting on.
rabbiporkchop and peterd Thank this. -
After those high profile bus accidents that were due to either faulty equipment of driver fatigue, I think the general public might very well take notice of a bus parked at a weigh station.
-
See that quite a bit in Anthony, but usually charter buses from back east who don't come through New Mexico enough to have a permanent permit account and just buy a trip permit. The only other time I recall seeing a bus put OOS there was a Mexican tour bus.
-
I have never seen a Greyhound at a weigh station.Wonder what the officer discovered to put him OOS
