Walmart Faults Tracy Morgan for Not Wearing Seatbelt During Car Accident

Wow. That takes balls. As if I wouldn't be surprised by anything else from the world's scummiest retailer.

 

Sounds like an appropriate affirmative defense to me.... All they are saying is that there was contributing negligence on the part of the plaintiffs, and, just like Wal-Mart doesn't deny that their driver caused the accident, it's going to be hard for the plaintiffs to deny that they would probably have been better off had they been properly restrained.

A driver in a truck going 20 mph over the posted speed limit and slamming into the back of the said limo wouldn't have caused any of this..... Poor Walmart. It's the liberal media lying again!!!! Waiting for that response....

I don't know if I've said that, but I can tell you I've never slammed into the back of a limo with a celebrity with big money lawyers..... Or anyone else for that matter. And I run the speed limit in construction zones. I like to keep my money, lol.

 

As I said is that to my knowledge Wal-Mart has not denied that their driver caused the crash. They are accepting responsibility. That doesn't mean that Tracy Morgan or any other victim in that crash is suddenly going to become the majority shareholder in Wal-Mart, nor should it. All they are doing is what any prudent business would do, and that is to try and protect themselves and their shareholders to the greatest extent possible. I could be wrong, but my surmise is that's exactly what you and your insurance company would do if, God forbid, you should ever find yourself at fault in an accident.

 

I don't get it. Are you saying the liberal media is defending Wal-Mart? Not sure where you are getting that from. Wal-Mart or anybody else that is being sued for millions is going to say anything they can think of to deflect some of the blame. It is done everyday. Not sure what the liberal media has to do with it.

 

That last part about media was a joke. I said I was waiting for a response like that, lol. You know it's coming.
