Some demo work with a nice sledge hammer is always a good way to work out the stess, Just imagine the wall is the plumbers that were their. And you may have given yourself away if he comes on here and then comes home to see your handy work.

Shew! It's been a long afternoon for me! Mom had an appointment with her lung dictor, pulmonologist at 2pm. We left the office about 5 pm! Gotta say, the guy's thorough, but it takes forever. He took arterial blood gases blood work, labs blood work, a chest xray, and gave her a flu shot. Plymouth, NC doesn't have lung Dr's, so we had to go to Greenville, an hour a way. Glad to be back home again.

Blah, stuck at KW until tomorrow at least. In addition to the work I mentioned earlier I also have a recall on my truck and am getting new fairings and stuff. The first 68 T680s left the factory with different parts than should be on them. So I'm getting new cab fairings, steps, saddle straps and some other stuff. Lots of construction over here. KW is building 10 new service bays!

George's luck has definitely gone sour. His drop in Henderson was on time, actually was moved up from 5:45 to 4:15 and he got thre at 4 pm. It took them 3 hours and he was happily on his way home. I got a call from him about 45 minutes ago that he's stuck, broke down on the side of the road waiting for a tow to Raleigh, NC and has no idea when he'll get home! All I can say is, "wow!"

Jaso, Mom's appointment went okay. Unfortunately there's no miracle drug for bad lungs and general decline of health. Thanks for your kind words and concern. Good news, though, is the pulmonologist doesn't think she has COPD as diagnosed while she was in the hospital in March. Losing weight would benefit her with better breathing, but being basically wheelchair bound, that's difficult. It's a day to day situstion....seize the day.

Poor George! I can totally sympathize. Does he have any idea what's wrong with the truck? Being as he is so close to home and overdue for scheduled hometime, if the truck is going to be in the shop for any extended amount of time TransAm could possibly find a way to get him home while the truck is in the shop. I've heard from multiple drivers who have gotten a bus or plane ticket home on TransAm's tab and ultimately end up running their errands in the form of equipment moves until they get back in their truck. Ya never know.

On the bright side, the Kenworth in Raleigh is an MHC location so TransAm can use their swing to expedite the process somewhat provided he doesn't have to wait for parts to be ordered. I was in and out of the shop in Nashville in under 4 hours from the time the tow truck unhooked to getting the keys back when my fan clutch went out. Nashville takes the MHC-TransAm deal seriously. I find Olathe to be the slowest MHC shop we deal with. Most likely because it is so saturated with TransAm trucks that they don't play pick and choose so much. I just like the people here which is why I get most of my work done here. Gonna start getting more done in Greensboro, NC though. Another MHC location with great guys and I can crash with my ex and have doggie fun days lol.
