Poor George....and you, jungHo! What a week you all have had! Stay positive, don't let it get you down. honeybadger is giving good advice .....she knows about having to get truck repairs! You will make it through all of this!
dennisroc, jungHo and gntorres61 Thank this. -
Good to know, Kris. He doesn't really know what's wrong. The red stop sign engine light came on, so he shut it down. Manual regen didn't do anything. He's there now in the truck sleeper for the night. Naturally he has to wait for morning for any results. Thanks for the pointers. It would be great if he could make it home tomorrow. Good luck to you, too, with your repair work. Hope you'll be running again soon.
dennisroc Thanks this. -
We have had something a little unsettling happen around here. There have been I guess what you would call prowlers in this area over the last week. Folks always think that living in the country is safer than living in town ....it's not. Normally there are a lot of break ins and equipment theft when you live out of town .....and cattle rustling is a very big thing around here.
The girls and I had gone to Springfield this evening and got home about 6:30. At 7:30 we heard that there were two murders this evening, one a few miles from us to the east....and the other one was about 3 houses up to the west.dennisroc Thanks this. -
the murdered people weren't plumbers were they?dennisroc, HometimeQueen, wulfman75 and 4 others Thank this.

Everyone always tells me to turn the dogs loose when they start barking at something outside, I never have......I figure the only things that matter to me are in this house. First they would have to get in, then they would have to get through the dogs, and by that time they would be looking down the barrel of a shotgun....or two...or three.
A lady not too far from here turned her dogs, two German shepherds, out when they started barking last week, they went chasing after a man that was in her yard. Only one came back, he shot the other one. -
I am fine HTQ. It rained before I went to sleep but I can sleep through just about anything.
Cranky I am going to check on score now but from your earlier post it looks like I might have a smile on my face
HTQ there is nothing scarier than the sound of a slide on a shotgun to me. I have one at the house for similar reasons with alternate birdshot and a buc/slug shot so my wife can't miss.
Be safe out thereHometimeQueen Thanks this. -
HTQ be careful and safe !!!!! Wow seems like some crazy stuff for sure. Any follow up reports ?
George and Jungho , sorry to hear of more bad luck. I hope all is fixed quick and you get some good home time.
And how about those Colts
HometimeQueen and jungHo Thank this. -
The only thing they have said, dennisroc, is that the two murders are connected. I have lived in Atlanta, Pittsburgh, Richmond, Mobile, Shreveport, Kansas City, Houston and a few other large cities.....small town Missouri is the most violent and crime ridden. It's really sad. I think part of it is because of the economic situations here.
When it is raining is about the only time I don't have trouble sleeping, jaso. I turn on a little white noise machine that sounds like rain, if I don't then I wake up because I hear the clock downstairs ticking!
