TMC is only hiring experienced drivers for their florida regional gig out of Tampa area per their website. Wouldn't hurt to try to see if they would accept students. Epes is another good one. Totally forgot about that one.

Hopefully I will get on with a company that has a terminal or a drop yard somewhere in the vicinity. I also know of a few fenced in places that I see OTR trucks parked in on a regular basis, so I gotta find out how much these places cost......I know of two that are REAL close to my house in Holiday and NPR.

I would second, (or third) Conway, a friend went there with no experience and with their training and guidance inside of a year he had made a pretty good transition from car driver to training other newbies himself, they do pretty good with their training IMHO and he became a very good driver pretty quickly, although I may not agree with him (or anyone else) being a trainer so fast he's done a good job and now at almost two years with them has found a home he is proud of, if your home time isn't that important to you they are a good fit. He parks at the truck repair place on County line rd., Spring Hill/ Hudson border when he's home with no problems.
Hope this helps and Good luck!!!southtruck and xlsdraw Thank this. -
Walmart on 54 and little allows parking so does the one in lutz/land o lakes. Tarpon walmart too although there isn't a lot of room and some trucks park on the otherside of the fence by the catholic church. I just saw a couple Rvs and rigs parked at the hudson walmart last weekend. I delivered there.
They may have been just taking tens and not layovers/ hometime though
