New Tanker IC

Night I had a question about line 5, like when u leave the Houston OC to go home with the truck u line 3 or line 5?

 

If your not under a load, going to pick up a load, or doing anything for the company you can use PC but only to go home.
That's my understanding of it anyway. The PC law is kinda vague.

I know u could use it for other things as long as not under or dispatched on a load but I was curious for Schneider policy lol

 

Schneider's policy is No company driver can log line 5. IC can log line 5 as long as you're not dispatched under a load or Pre planned and are bobtail.

 

I knew that already in about 6 months I am most likely switching to IC but I was just trying to figure out if ur allowed to drive from OC home with line 5 that all

 

As a IC you can drive where you want on line 5 as long as your not under load or pre assigned or pulling an mt and you still have hours on your 14. if no 14 then you can't drive

Have you heard anything more about the tanker side going Choice %? (Feb 2015?)
Are your numbers close to what you projected back in April?
