First stop in Fort Lauderdale was a tight squeeze because of all the cars parked everywhere but I surprised myself and hit the dock in one shot with no pull ups. Final was Sysco in Medley which is a cake walk. Got my preplan and am now dispatched on it. Deadheading to Charlotte, NC to pick up a load going to Odessa! Great miles this week.

I had a good chunk in my maintenance account, but that took care of my alignment and APU work. TransAm will cover the tire costs up front and just bill my settlements. Dropped $1400 last night and now am sitting at the TA in Vero Beach to get two new steers. Shoot me now.

Seems that our queen has decided that this is no longer a good decade for her. She's decided to go back to the 1920's, for some reason. lol

Panhandle, how are you this evening? If the other truck hit you enough to scrape your trailer up and put a gash in it, I would assume that you were jostled around some.

honeybadger, hang in there .....you know the routine. I know that you are tough enough and stubborn enough to get through this. How is the contest going? I haven't checked today but I know the lady with the smurf was ahead last night.......she shares her picture a dozen times a day and has several friends that do also. I have been sharing the post every day.....I figure no one will cuss me for that, and the ones I haven't shamed into it yet will eventually share and vote! :biggrin_25525: We're gonna get ya that bluetooth!

Let's see - I know where passport, honeybadger, jaso, Panhandle, and George are all at or heading to.......so....

dennisroc, how are things in your part of the world?
Pete, are you heading west on I-80?
wulfman, what state are you in?
SRQGhost, any idea when you will be making your move to OTR?
melo, we haven't heard from you in awhile, how are you doing?
JohnBoy, you have been quiet also. How are you?

    dennisroc Thanks this.

You're getting warm. I always stop right in Stuart if I need a break in that area. Burger King and free WiFi. If anyone wonders why I always talk about Burger King. Live in Asia for 7 years and you will appreciate a good flame broiled, American burger!

Two brand new Bridgestone steers balanced and mounted. My wallet can't take any more of this this week. I am looking forward to tomorrows drive though. All the way to North Carolina, jamming out to The Avett Brothers all day! Should be an easy drive.

melo, I read something about Hesperia this week, I want to say that there have been several loads stolen there. I wish my brain had a search button! :biggrin_2552: It will come to me but by the time it does you will most likely be on the road to somewhere else. Just be cautious about where you park. The King doesn't do as much driving at night now, but when he does it is that period between 4 and 5am that is the hardest for him. It might sound crazy but try chewing some peppermint gum.....I hear that it helps a little.
It does sound as if you are getting some nice miles if you are going to Cali.
