False Roadside Inspection Report

    I had a roadside inspection report filed on me and I didn't even have an inspection. Has this happened to anyone else? Company wants to know where my copy of report is and I told them I didn't have one.

    i've had a level 1 inspection and if every thing is good they don't write it up....screw me out of $100.

    Yea the company got a report that I had a level 1 inspection no violations. They asked where's my copy and I told them I didn't have an inspection. Had a level one 2 and half months ago and a level 2 two weeks ago, all clean. Has anyone heard of DOT officers having a quota for inspections? Any one have similar experience. Just found out today and company says they're going find out more information. Is it some kind of fraud that I can get them for? Never heard of anything like this.

    There would still be a report. If they're going to take my time to do an inspection, they're #### sure going to give me a copy. I don't care what level inspection they perform.

    Well if there were no Violations..not sure if I'd be worried about it.

    Be different if they said they found a bunch of stuff or even worse OOS.

    Now would company believe them or me? Would company have investigation? They're pretty anal.

    they all have quota just like any business they need to make money....if at the end of the day they go back to HQ empty handed the boss will by like..WTF...same with the speed cop's

    Maybe for some reason they put wrong info in......?? I received an inspection but, when I received the paper from the officer, it had Prime info on the inspection paper....

    You need a copy and the company as well. Jist in case the officer put something that needed repairs, they have 30 days to fix it, sign it and send it back. All inspections need a report.
