The last ad I seen was 2 years for a solo driver. When I hired on it was 3 years. If you are a newbie check out being a team driver. When I hired on there was a driver there that had the same experience I did, run solo for a while and went team. If you can sleep in a moving truck it's a better way to go. Give them a call. If you don't qualify, call them when you do. I am a knowledge seeker. I have been driving for 7 years. I have been in every State on every road in the Us, Ontario, and Quebec. I have driven in every situation, snow, ice, mountains, ect. And have experienced a what the trucking companies have to offer. The bottom line is 2 years throughout is fine. But it gets old, shoot for a job that gets you out and back. DTL is the answer if you live within Sanford, Fl

No they pay practical miles. However that is how I was paid and you didn't seemed to get jacked out of much. Most their runs are there and back and are long miles. 20 to 30 miles usually don't hurt to bad. I've seen a lot worse. Like 10 to 25 % of total miles. I don't know how they work it, but sometimes the miles were actually in my favor.
