3406e injector sizes

Just my luck. LOL What models went from 40 to 70 pin? I don't know what years all the codes match up with.

 

40 Pin - 5EK, 6TS, 1LW, 5DS
70 Pin - 2WS, 6NZ, 7CZ, MBN
70 Pin Acert - BXS
120 Pin Acert - MXS, NXS
Not sure what ecm the Acert DPF has (SDP) but I don't think its compatible with any of the others mentioned anyways.

 

not trying to jack anyones thread but, I have a non-waste gated turbo off of a 98 1LW! What would be the pro or con if I put it on my 5EK? Keep in mind this truck goes everywhere Ca, AZ, MT, FL, etc! Note this truck has a 9 speed tranny and 340 rears!Thanks!

 

That depends on what horsepower the turbo is built for and what the 5ek puts out.

 

Non gated turbos usually were only used on the lower HP models.

 

is the 5ek cam different then a 2ws?

 

yes, actually the 5EK will benefit from the 2ws cam.

 

Would a 5EK most likely have OR9257 Injectors? and would a 1LW likely have the same? Both engines 435 HP. Want to "borrow" the injectors from the one to the other to move it to where the 1LW is. Thanks
