Averitt?

averitt is a good company. the ltl is a good part but the truck load is no better than crete,swift or any other bottom feeder.
The ones that are not on e logs yet are expected to drive illegal.

 

Does Averitt require new CDL-A grads to sign a contract that lasts the first 6 mos. of employment, so if you leave during the first six months you owe Averitt money for training you? Or, did I misunderstand their ad?

 

About to go to school. No clue about trucking. Can you fill me in on what makes truckload so bad. Thanks

 

Are Averitt's trucks automatic or manual transmissions?

Many professional truck drivers recommend getting initial experience on a manual transmission, then go to a trucking company that has automatic transmissions.

However, it is really up to the individual.

 

What truckload company ISN''T hiring ALL the time?!?!?! Maybe some lil mom and pop outfit with 10 trucks!!!!
