Having lived in Florida for the last 16 yrs, I've pretty much acclimated myself to warm weather.

I get cold when it drops below 60f. Dont get me wrong,.. I think when snow first falls its quite beautiful. Its just the cold and the effects that the ice have that I dont care for any more. I love snow boarding,.. just dont like getting wet and cold. Kind of an oxy moron aye?

It's here for sure. 10cm thick ice layer at some points.
9% hill on the sign even though I think it's steeper. No chains but scale in the truck said 21ton on the drive axle. Just 27ton on the trailer

    I also took a picture
But mine is on -39 :)

Actually it's from north norway. Senja is the place called. The small village I loaded in is Husöy. Small fishing village.

Thats cold. Too cold for my warm blooded American butt.

-5f is about -20c. Not sure how cold -39c is,.. but I remember being in windchill of -55 and I could barely keep my eyes open because my tears would freeze. 5 minutes outside was all I could stand.

America is great for having such a diverse climate. Those who like is cold have a place and those who like it warm have a place. Its when they intermingle that arguments occur. :biggrin_2559:

Well if you look at the thermometers, you see that the scales match at -40. So -39C is around -38F, and #### cold no matter where you're at!

I spent 5 hours under a truck changing parts out in a parking lot in Fargo ND this past Jan when it was below -40F with the wind chill. And people wonder why I am grumpy in the winter time. I kind of hope that it is as cold as it was last year then I won't have to go as far north as my boss is wanting me too.
