Not quite. OKC is home for tax purposes BUT, the IRS considers Omaha my home terminal. I also don't claim per diem if I'm doing HT at my sisters. Not sure how they would feel about that.
Same thing holds true for you all. If your dispatched out of Olathe, every time your there, you shouldn't be claiming the per diem for that day, HOWEVER, if your in Rockwall, you could. Least that's my understanding of it.

Good luck jdmredneck , keep us posted and let us know how things are going. I have thought about going with TA as a company driver if I ever move back to the USA. I was looking at going to Sage school in Indianapolis , IN as it is only 4 weeks. I am sure going to school as long as you are will be better training but seems so long.
Sage is all one on one training so I figured that was a good deal. I sure like the trucks there at TA but some have a lot of break downs , but I guess all trucks do that no matter what company.
Be safejdmredneck33 Thanks this. -

Down once again in Altoona Iowa at the J. This time its the batteries again. Texted dispatch that I was sick too so they pulled me off that load but that was before I realized the batteries were discharged too. I MUST BE A LOSER CAUSE I CANT WIN!! The apu stopped heating so when I went to crank the engine, thats when I realized the batteries were dead. Waiting for BOSS SHOP to jump me. Maybe they will have me deadhead to Olathe yard. Paint this truck yellow, call it a lemon, and get me a different truck!!
