H.O. Wolding is a GREAT company!

Don't have time to read 111 pages, so what makes this company so great?

After speaking with them I wasn't impressed with the mileage pay and didn't go much further. So do they have a lot of additional pay?

 

From what's been posted in the earlier pages it appears they do have quite a bit of extra pay based on the miles run per quarter. I know Weeble was happy there and only left because he moved to Oregon. There's been a few new posters here recently and they seem happy with them.
There's one from my area of WI (Duramax) that posted he was going out with a trainer about 6 weeks ago or so and hasn't been heard from since.? Don't know what happened there maybe he's too busy to post. This was a lively thread once not so much anymore but maybe Spike will get it back to life.

 

From what I hear they are just one of the better places to start out.........

Finished some hometime....back out today..in Alabama tonight. Also have two preplans ready after this load.

 

In Texas right now...did a reset yesterday. Had pretty good week with about 2600 miles. Headed back to Alabama after I pick up here in Austin.

 

Back from being with a trainer Friday, finishing up final processing this week, we got our trucks #'s today. Few more things to do tomorrow, then hopefully a load and hit the road towards home for a couple days before getting out and running hard. The trucks we got are the roll-downhill-being-phased-out old trucks, but word is we'll only be in them for a few weeks before moving into something newer. Will keep you updated on that and how the road goes!

 

Alright..congrats..I got an older truck too and was told the same. My truck is actually in really good shape for the mileage. I've been running hard and it hasn't failed me yet (knocks on wood)...I've been getting 2500-2800 consistently.

I talked to Mrs. Betty in August and made the decision to come here when it was time. I arrived yesterday and start orientation in a hour and a half. I met most everyone that works at the home office yesterday. This place is extremely friendly.
