Been a long time since I've picked up a beer load. At the AB in Merrimack, NH, and taking it to Pittsburgh. Oh joy.

Truck is out of the shop. Batteries replaced. Got a preplan for JBS Marshalltown Iowa for tomorrow which goes to Greenville SC for Thursday morning delivery then a six hour ride to hometime. I am ok with it. Three days late but of little consequence. Puts me home for the weekend and thats not a bad thing. I have had enough bad (four weeks worth). Time for things to turn around. Hanging out at the Jwhere I have been all weekend. The bums are beginning to recognize me. Deuces.

Thanks for all the encouragement, gang. If the first two months hadn't been so good, I probably would have considered quitting, but since I had good before, I am naive enough to think I can have it good again. Great photos by the way. Queenie, your daughters are gorgeous, and YOU still got it too. Just don't tell the King (or Jungho). Probably cleaning his shotgun anyway, right? Hopefully Jungho can find a good photo of me/us to upload. Right now I got baggage under my eyes for this cold. Just got sent the same preplan. Just 45 miles away. Not moving. The pumpkin spice coffee here rocks. Max's Diner here is really good too. If I can get this APU to stay on. Its warm in Des Moines today.

Good luck George and enjoy that well deserved home time.jungHo, HometimeQueen and gntorres61 Thank this. -
I'm ok, Hometime. Have to admit I am a little stressed. It's been about a month that George has had low miles due to truck issues or slow loads. It sure makes money tight too. I am trying to be positive and have been praying much. I've not been on here much lately, because I've been crocheting like crazy in hopes of selling stuff at a flea market sometime in November. Trying to help with finances some and keeping preoccupied to sort of destress.
It's been nice seeing pictures of several of you to put a face with your names. I'm quite behind reading the posts. You guys have been rather busy on here lately. Thanks for encouraging George. He's bound to be a wee bit discouraged and frustrated. Take care.dennisroc and HometimeQueen Thank this. -
I wasn't able to upload a pic in the response box but was able to put an avatar pic on. I always use my tablet for inteenet surfing and I suppose am limited to adding attachments and such with it. My avatar pic and a couple others (one of just George, and 1 of his truck) are on my profile page.

Had to go to Thermo King, once again!! The APUs AC was not cooling and quitting too. Breakdown sent me to the one here in East Des Moines. In and out in less than 2 hours. Mud from the Albert Lea MN Kenworth dealer (place is in the middle of a field with no concrete except in the bays inside the garage) clogged up the fan. He cleaned all the mud in it and now I am freezing my arse again!! Was sweating like a prostitute in a confessional earlier. Thank God!! Finally, an afternoon that didn't go completely to waste.
