CAT wasn't able to dyno it today so the anticipation builds... they should get to it Monday hopefully. How will it turn out?![/QUOTE]

I have been a subscriber to this thread for a long time. This question may have been addressed already, but for the life of me, if it has, I cannot remember the answer.
Do you folks on the Choice program find the load rate stays the same load after load or does it vary? For example, DFO has a handful of customers he likes to go to. Do those customers pay the same rate all of the time? So when DFO see's the load on the board, he has pulled that load so many times, he already knows what the load pays. I understand you don't have to wonder what it pays as the load screen will tell you any way, I'm just curious if the rate at a particular customer remains consistent.
What got me to thinking about it was I have been reading in the "Broker" section of TTR and I read where drivers pulling Broker loads have to negotiate with the broker, always trying to get more money while the shipper is trying to get the load delivered as cheap as possible. I realize the SNI board for Choice is "No negotiations. There is the rate, take it or leave it."knuckledragger Thanks this. -
The rate for the loads I pull regularly stays very consistent. It might vary by a total of 20 bucks here and there. These loads are for the "bigtime" customers and I'm sure they have contracts with SNI and that is why the rates hardly ever change. I'm sure the one-off loads are more in line with varying freight markets throughout the year.91B20H8, knuckledragger and 88 Alpha Thank this.

one thing I've noticed is that you can haul the exact same load now and it pays a bit less than it did 6 months ago......
then I figured it out......with fuel prices going down, the FSC goes down with it.knuckledragger, TennMan, 88 Alpha and 3 others Thank this. -

Hope everything works out for you DFO, it's a good lookin truck!
Make sure you post some interior pics, I would enjoy seeing the O/O speced beast! -
That's a good sign.
So you are saying it won't be long before you change your sig pic to a white KW attached to a SNI trailer? -
Not right away, gonna still use my Cascadia for the duration of it's lease through the end of November as I'm sure I will find a few things on the new ride that will need fixing before it'll be ready to hit the road. Now for the fun part of figuring out insurance to get this thing home.mickimause, Lonesome, 88 Alpha and 1 other person Thank this.

The end of November will be here before you know it. You have a good plan. Get as much of the little issues taken care of now, when you are not depending on the truck to make money. If the KW needs to rest a week or so while parts come it, etc, you can still run and not take a financial hit.
