jungHo, I did worry about whether I told you correctly about the state taxes or not so I went back and looked to double check. As passport and Panhandle also confirmed TransAm does take care of the state taxes. What I did notice, and where the confusion may be, is that there are weeks when you will have no state taxes taken out of your checks, depending on your mileage for the week. Per diem is not taxed and since 12 cpm is per diem it will significantly reduce the amount of taxes that you pay, both Federal and State.

Yeah, but Flash gets a pass because ... well, you know, adorable.

For any of the new drivers: Mine does not have the lower tinted window in the sleeper (air vents instead), but as far as I can tell otherwise this is the exact truck I am driving now: http://www.kenworth.com/news/news-r...-atd-heavy-duty-commercial-truck-of-year.aspx

Thanks for checking on that, HTQ. That is great to know! I have been worried, that we were going to have to take care of that ourselves. With his checks being on the lean side lately, it's been nearly impossible to save money. Abilene didn't pay state taxes. Guess I assumed that was standard. Shew! What a relief!

As to Texas and APU issues, George hasn't been to TX for quite some time. Move his pin to Warrenton, GA Dollar Gen DC going to Ardmore, OK. He is on a night driving pattern and sleeping days. The schedule you drivers just live, right?:biggrin_25523:

Nice looking truck, passport! What color is yours? Are there ccurtains in the sleeper at the windows, really? I'm thinking you'd have to provide them, right?

    passport220 and dennisroc Thank this.

Thanks, or on behalf of TransAm thanks. Mine is red. Yes, it came with the sleeper curtains, plastic same color as the rest of the interior with snaps to fully cover the window. The truck in the pic looks like it has brown carpet, mine has a black matt covering the floor.

Get it right, Jungho!! LAWRENCEVILLE GA at an Averitt Express terminal going to Dollar General in Ardmore. In the middle of my 10 hour break leaving at 10 pm. Load due on Friday at 11am at DG in Ardmore Oklahoma. My delivery on my swap was 7 minutes late. I let dispatch know there was aTrans Am Truck in the dock I would back into. Hardly think that would qualify as SERVICE FAILURE. This place is SRA foods in Birmingham. You are supposed to blind side back off a one way street into their dock, but I go down halfway the wrong way and sight side 90 into the dock. Though we aren't supposed to, no one will say anything. Anyway busted arse to get there, blew off both my fuel stops, but had to stop in West Memphis for 50 gallons in lieu of that and since I started befor midnight, had to log a post trip and pre trip back to back at 4 am which costed me 20 minutes plus the fuel stop itself and took a 30 minute nap 86 miles away from the drop. No way I am stopping for fuel in East STL at midnight. At least 4am in West Memphis, I know what I am dealing with. At the Pilot in Bama I20 east x165. Deuces.

Kind of surprised, to hear about a company that doesn't pay some sort of state tax. My present company, deducts for them but, they pay it to Nebraska. When I file in OK, some form has to be filled out to take care of that.

Finally got it shut down, made my logs look purty, and am only 2.5 hrs from delivery. Actually taking a reset after this delivery. Unfortunately, it looks like it will be in Omaha.

Wish I knew how to import something from FB into here. Found the perfect coronation outfit for the queen and the princesses to wear, when we declare passports new house, Transamland. lol Having problems trying to figure out what a knave like cranky would wear tho. I suppose that I would be the court jester, but wouldn't look good in tights. Hat would be cool tho.

And I haven't forgotten about taking pictures of my truck for whoever asked for it. Things just haven't worked out yet.

If you have a laptop you might be able to save the pic maybe you could upload it to the thread? Isn't passport the computer whiz? It is a shame, you can share so many things with FB and other social media. Should be one for the thread too.

Sorry, George. I want sure if I had that right (your run), however, I knew you would correct it if I didnt!!!! (Insert Pee Wee Herman laughter!!!) :biggrin_2558:
