If he is new to lease operations and or feels he could benefit from having a mentor, have him call Laura Watkins @ x6647 to ask for one. By doing this in NO WAY implies that he can't do this on his own, but it does put him in contact with a driver that is successful here and understands how EVERYTHING works. Things such as procedures can easily slip one's mind, especially when at a new place.

There is never, ever anything wrong with expanding ones own knowledge or for requesting help to learn new skills or to change ones own perspective on life. It's one of the very cool things about JCT.

How the Hell Big Brown and their purple sister manage to get what I drop in a box in Miami, FL to Anchorage, AK (or more importantly - my payroll office) the next day is amazing and again; Thank You Lord - so far never lost a trip in 17 years and I can't begin to tell you how many loads. I have full faith and confidence in Trip Pak, . . . and some funny stories to tell racing to that yellow box. I'll save them for now, though.
I don't need to chase pick up and payroll cutoff anymore. The scan thing is SO much better than it used to be. Yeah, it's a cost. Most fall back positions have a cost. Scanning is not a bad fall back, though.
99.9% I Trip Pak. But when the grits hit he fan it's nice to have modern technology. Even if it costs me a few bucks. Sometimes you just gotta have it when you need it. Other times it can wait. That's the hardest part of learning to be a Lease Op. Them first months are a BUGGER! I'll testify to that come Sunday. I came to Sapulpa from Charleston, SC with $200 to my name (my wife got half and I got half, to hold us to first settlement) and a dream of one day handing John Christner a $1 bill for my title.
Tell you this much; one of three things is gonna happen and you can bank a year's wages on it. I'm gonna hand Mr. John Christner himself a dollar for my title; I'm gonna drag him out the grave and do it . . . or my wife will drag one or both of us out and see to it. I'd highly recommend against underestimatin' a Texas Philly. Especially a red-headed one.
Takes two to make it but only one to break it.
Figuring out which is what . . . .
That's the FUN of it.
Hang tough . . . Ms Driver. -
The only issue I ever had with trip pak boxes is when I dropped a packet in the trip pak box at the yard. I didn't realize that it was an active trip pak box.

Found out today that starting Nov. 1 that the PikePass will work as K-Tag on the Kansas toll roads. Also, the Pike Pass will work on the George Bush Toll Road in Dallas.
Heard this directly from the Permit Office today.crxdc, mattbnr, Mr. Mister and 2 others Thank this. -
That's awesome less remembering recipts

Yeah, like that's ever gonna happen.Jarhed1964 and MachoCyclone Thank this. -
You know that you don't need a toll pass for the TX-130 Toll Road (Austin bypass) or for the E-270 (Denver bypass) as both of those are base plate tolls and billed directly to JCT.
And they both save so much time. Especially the TX-130 around Austin. -

Well, time to leave the yard. All issues on the truck is fixed and restart complete. Time to go pickup from Springdale for McClain in Tracy, CA.
