    Hey guys, joined to help out guys in need of help. Especially with the Paccar MX-13, Cummins, and CAT engines. I work at a dealership that sells KW's so fire away.

    Guys like yourself are a blessing to this forum!

    Can you shed some light isx15-cm2250 motor in 2012 KW T660- most common problems and such. I'm making a jump over to it and been researching about it.

    2014 kw mx 13 500 hp, vibration in motor. eaton just did a vibration test to confirm where it was coming from but no results yet, just wondering if you have had any problems

    Most common problems are the ones that plague all of the newer trucks: emissions systems. The ISX15 is a wonderful engine to operate. Very strong and won't hurt too much at the pump. A majority of the mechanical problems I have seen from them are due to operator error or poor maintenance. Just be sure that the recall has been performed for the fuel pump. If you don't know if it needs the recall or not, shoot me the last six of the VIN via PM and I can look it up for you.

    We rarely have MX-13's with vibration problems. Unless it is throwing a code (if you haven't figured out already, an MX-13 will throw a code for almost anything) I would eliminate the engine.

    What tranny do you have? How many miles are on it? What is the model of the KW?

    Eaton vibration test said definitely in motor, not throwing any codes. 2014 t660 mx 13 500 hp 18 speed manual, ag400 air ride, 100,000 miles, tried different rims and tires, different trailers, They have checked driveline 3 times (ride height u-joints, driveshafts, etc) checked motor and cab mounts, changed two injectors that were in spec but on the low side under power.vibration shows up more when motor is working harder. steering column, gearshift, floor by pedals vibrates. Its got my kenworth dealer and whoever they send reports too stumped.
