Ok I'm going to tell all if you whiny ### crybabies the same thing. If you don't like the speed a PRIME truck (yes I'm at least nan enough to come out and say it). Then PASS them. Sitting around whining and crying and ####ing and moaning about it like a little ##### is only going to make YOU look like the moron.
-
I pass Prime all the time. They do 58 mph. More power to them. Doesn't bother me. I don't drive for them. But on two lane highways, I've seen many a Prime driver speed up when I'm trying to pass them. Why? What's the purpose in that??? Not all, mind you, but enough to bring it up. I don't care if Prime and all the other companies they have their hands in turn their trucks down to 25 mph. But these drivers need to be aware some of us have schedules to keep and don't want to play their games, especially when you're putting safety at risk to act like a prick to the guys who run faster than you.

why are you trying to drive in excess of 55or 60 mph on a two lane road in a CMV while trying to overtake another CMV?Last edited: Oct 31, 2014

Cause in certain places, like texas, utah, montana, etc etc etc the speed limit on two lanes is in excess of 55 or 60 mph. holier then thou never sped, or slow prime truck cant speed except in school zones?

Ok thesis getting stupid. Never argue with an idiot they will only drag you down to their level.
One day after you've been driving 90 mph on at won land road and you 're now standing on the side of the road talking to yourself looking at your truck while it's lying on its side, (if you're as smart as you make yourself out to be) you WILL be singing a different tune.
or you could just rethought your think process and get a grip on something called "reality". -
US 287 in Armadillo, Tx to Limon, Co. is a primary Prime route, it's alternately two lanes and 4 lanes, the speed limit varies from 75 mph to 65 mph, if Prime can only run 58 or 62 mph, they are a traffic hazard. Hell, the limit from Boise City, Ok to Limon, Co., with few exceptions, the average speed is closer to 70 mph, I've passed many a Prime truck along that stretch, and it gets old when they suddenly decide to speed up as you're passing them.
Say's the driver with 2 yrs exp.
That you don't have the exp. behind the wheel to drive a real truck, at real speeds, perhaps you should come back and talk to us when you do. Just wait till you have to play with the bullracks and tankers on I-25 in Wyo., if you're not able to do 70 mph in a 80 zone, you're a speed bump.Lonesome, semi retired semi driver, zmpart and 1 other person Thank this. -
Have you ever been on a two lane road where the speed limit is 70? Come out west.Lonesome, semi retired semi driver and striker Thank this.
-
Right? Speed limit on US90 from Van Horn to Del Rio is 75 mph and it's all 2 lane.zmpart, striker and joseph1135 Thank this.
