Anybody know of any? I mean secure, as in fenced or security. The truck and trailer are ultimately going to the track in Homestead, but I can't get it in until Friday.
I've got a hotel lined up that has truck parking, but I'd feel more comfortable with something more secure.
Thanks in advance.

Wish I could help but I definitely agree with your concern. I wouldn't park anything in Homestead anywhere, unless it was locked up. Good luck
Wingnut1 Thanks this. -
There is parking beside the Mutineer restaurant on Palm. It's a hop skip and a jump from the track. A food service company leases it but for $20 a night the manager of the Mutineer will let you park there. It's not fenced but it's probably the best you'll find all the way south if you don't want to park at the hotel. I wouldn't leave anything on Krome Ave. Good luck.

I really appreciate that, fortycal. That is right by the hotel I'm staying at. Don't know why I didn't see the trucks when I was looking on Google maps.

Do not leave anything in Homestead or the Pilot on Krome Ave. There is Pilot in Miami on Okeechobee which is fenced but it is more than 1/2 hour from the track and they charge 15.00 a day

Lovely....Well, apparently nobody from my company bothered to call the track to see if I could 'store' the truck there, so I'm going to call in the morning.
The main issue with parking it away from Homestead is that I've got a rental car (and hotel) reserved in Homestead and it would cost me an arm and a leg to get to it (taxi).
Paying to park somewhere isn't an issue as long as I get a receipt to get reimbursed. -
I like this post. Advertisement for a trailer load of race car tires, in the Miami area. Unsecured, with pictures to boot.

Except the neither the truck nor the trailer is the one I currently have....

Just joshing with ya! That's good news though. Never know when a crazy thief might be on here lurking.

Might want to give Storage Maxx a call. They do long term storage, but will probably be willing to work with you, and even if you have to buy a whole month, you're getting it reimbursed, so who cares?
