Should i buy 2009 Freightlander Cascadia or 2010 Century ?

Run both trucks oil thru. test to ck. for wear and coolant before running over to Detroit for dino. ck. up, then you can make an offer for much less than asking price and see how bad they need to sell the trucks?

 

The reason they are cheap is that no one wants to deal with the headaches that came with these model years. Go older or newer. Or expect to spend a good amount of money on repairs.

And remember, I'm the positive one on the forum.

5 year ago who would have thought that a 2006 EGR truck with a million miles would be worth more than a 2010 with half the miles.

 

Buddy of mine just replaced his 2006 FL with a 2009 Cascadia 575k miles 14.0L Detroit paid 50K for it.He's had it a total of 2 months and its been in the shop about half that time for emissions related problems.If you don't plan on doing Cali go for something older without all the emissions crap on it.

 

That is what happens when the government forces rules on manufacturers and doesn't give them sufficient time to work out the bugs. I will stick with my older pre egr trucks.

 

I've seen the Freightlander trucks at my local Vulva dealer.

 

Get the Cascadia. The Century is way over priced.
