Around the Houston area gas is running $2.25 -$2.45. In the Dallas area it is running $2.55 -$2.60. Get it while you can. Diesel is running $3.25 -$3.35.

We small guys get to pay the high prices because the mega fleets get the fuel way cheaper and we get stuck paying the difference.

Austin Texas is below $2.50 gal. We buy our gas at Costco right now at $2.56.....nice
oh BTW, I think oil will drop even further. It popped up a tad recently but don't be surprised if it drops to below $60 barrel. Could we see diesel below $3.?? Could well be.

If oil get below $60 it won't matter how much diesel is because you won't have any work, if the oil patch slows down too much we will have a lot of trucks fighting for less freight. Sorry, I like $100 oil and $4.00 diesel, at least then I have the $4.00, $2.00 diesel and fighting over cheap freight don't work.

Its $2.59 for 87 in Tampa.

I still think thats too much to pay. $1.59 should be about right.
