On passports advice I am at McDs in Woodward, Ok. was getting close to my 14 and forgot where exactly the truck stop is so saw truck parking and closed up shop. Should be in Liberal after midnight but will call before I leave to find out if load is ready.

Finished the week at 2654. Would have hit the 3000 mark had I not been down on Monday for PM and DOT inspection. My load appointment is backed up 1 hour for Monday. Geez, I am running way ahead. Just 800 miles to go. Will run hard and hope for another swap. If not, I will flip back to a day schedule and slow my roll a little. Deuces.

 

Thank You Everyone for the info on Orientation Can anyone tell me if I need my birth Certificate though, Trying to find out cuz I lost mine an want to know if I need to get a new one which will take at least a few weeks since I live in NH but was born in Cali

 

I am with Pete on this one, jdmredneck. I would go ahead and get it .....and the sooner the better. Will you need it to get your license? I know every state is different, but Missouri requires a copy of it with your driver's license ....for anyone not just cdl holders. You only have to bring it with you one time but I remember it was a hassle for everyone that first time.
Do you have a family, redneck?
I believe if you plan on getting the company health insurance, such as it is, I think you will need the information for all of your dependents also....Social Security #'s, date of birth.

Just didn't have it tonight. All the overnights finally caught up with me. Then again, I didn't need to have it. Was gonna shoot for Oak Grove KY, but made it to Calvert, one hour shy. At the Loves at mm 27. Live to drive another day. No swap planned at this point so might as well enjoy the ride....and the rest. Good night all.

 

joey! How good to hear from you and know that you are doing well! What are you hauling now? Dry box? You must have gone with a smaller company....since it is more fun and less stress. That's how the King was ....he spent the first six months thanking his dispatcher because it was so much less stressful.

In Liberal. Resupplied the truck at Wallyworld now just waiting for them to knock on my door. Had to get a humidifier last winter was tough and so far I could feel this dry air starting to hurt. New shoes. Next week privacy curtains. This load delivers in Jackson, Ms. wondering what I will get out of there.
