Just getting my 2007 387 set up, curious if anyone else has made a set of shelves where the second bunk would go if there was one? I think it turned out nice, I just need longer two by fours for each side to fill in the gap. Made one on each side.

Can't believe no one else has posted yet.
I just bought an 03 387. I'm looking at pulling the upper bunk out and making a shelf that goes across. I found this looking to see if there is a prefab set up. If i can't find one already made I'm going to build my own. Right now I'm thinking i will build it out of an aluminum frame with wood bottom. I'll have to check the availability of the aluminum framing at the local metal outlet.

that would work, aluminum would be nice and light yet still strong. I just used all wood because of the cost and availability. Both of my shelves cost a mere 20 dollars.

one thing I'm looking at doing is building a set of drawers using those cheap plastic bins at Walmart. The small ones that are only about a foot wide and a foot tall.
