I would add, park on level ground and don't set your trailer brake. If you set the trailer brakes you may not be able to release them in the morning due to freezing.

There are times I just can't lay down for more than a few hours because my leg starts to bother me .....and other times I just wake up because I figure out how to find something I've been researching. But I must admit, that after dinner I sat down to watch some tv and dozed off! Nothing special for dinner tonight. Daughters have been baking cookies .....and then they eat them all!

Oh, so they're off their soap box now, huh? Guess they've all turned in for the night. I've got to hurry and finish readingmy book, a mystery, and get to sleep. I've tend to be somewhat of a night owl myself. The book, though, is quite intriguing, "A Mountain of Mystery," by Carole Jefferson.

HTQ, I know what you're saying, how you wake up thinking about things and that keeps you awake. Once your brain wakes up and starts turning, there's not much chance of getting much sleep. Been there. Your daughters sure do sound like regular spunky characters! Which one says she's always going to live with you...younger one? That's sweet! Lol! Sad they at least didn't share some of their cookies with you. Guess they turned out ok, for them to devour all of them! Bet they're sweet girls! BTW, how did their photo session go? I'm sure they were lovely! Bet they were excited! !!

This is my first experience with def but only plan on idling when I have to cause it gets expensive. Well half hour break done time to roll to Paducah and stop there

Well, actually, Pete, you and jaso gave a lot of practical pointers. Info that's good to know for newbies and perhaps a refresher for other drivers. Just joking about soap box. I am impressed with how you guys are so willing to share your expertise. It's downright neighborly! Hopefully it will divert problems too. Thanks for your genorosity!

Even in NC the weather has taken a nose dive...high mid 40s today, which is chilly compared to a few days ago. I'm sure glad that I don't live in the north! Safe travels and may each of you get many miles today!
