Trans Am Still

Praying for a southeast run after dropping my load then going to rescue the other load. Does cold wreak havoc on a trucks batteries. Of course I have been sitting for 36 hours. Would have completed a reset except I didn't need one. Seems too soon to be this cold. Idling sucks too. The apu is off and freezing my arse in the sleeper. One more hour than time to go. Better sit up front wher the heat is now. Deuces.

 

Waiting to get door to get unloaded. No pre-plan yet. I bet Auburndale is in my future. Would like to get a real nice long run out. We will see.

HB I see that they usually run you south. O don't really care and where I run but it would be nice to get into NYC outside of home time once in a while.

 

Still waiting. Wish we got detention pay. Not too many of those companies here. Cranky you were right, I won't say that to often so savor the moment. HTQ will step in and read from the transcript about how many times I told cranky he was right

Going to be a nice day in NC....high about 70, though it's raining, still nicer than 30s or 40s! Tomorrow and onward will be cold again. I'll just take it..today! Wish I didn't have a runny nose....think it's trying to run away from me sometimes!

HB, did you teach yourself to play the uukulele? That's neat! I only play piano, and am not too good at that. Used to play it (or keyboard) just for enjoyment. I was too nervous to ever play for anyone. Since you play the ukele learning to play guitar will probably be easy. Have fun! Great way to pass the time when you aren't running a load.

Sorry for your streak of bad luck, jaso. It does seem to hit hard sometimes, doesn't it? Bet your sunglasses will turn up when you least expect it. What kind of tablet did you buy? I have a Samsung and George has a Kindle. We love our tablets and do most of our surfing on them. Course the keyboard keys are much smaller than on a computer and takes some getting used to. It's great at least you found your wedding ring! Sure hope your luck improves soon! I know you do.
