Pats look good right now. Can't believe Miami almost won. Why did they score that TD at the end I needed Broncos to cover the spread.
truckertravis84 and dennisroc Thank this. -
Your daughters are lovely HTQ, great pics!!!
Before I started CDL school, I downloaded a trial version of a game called "Scania Truck Driving Simulator". In the very beginning level it will allow you to drive a simulated truck around a simulated parking lot and do backing drills. This game WILL NOT teach you how to drive a truck and back, overall it does not track and feel like a real truck but I found it did help to get me in the habit of turning the wheel in the right direction when backing.
For a lot of students when they are learning to back a truck, they can see what the should be doing but they start off turning the wheel in the wrong direction. They will try to correct but that first mistake can throw off the whole backing maneuver. If you play it can help you turn the wheel in the correct direction to effect the trailer the way you want, without delay and with confidence, I recommend you play this game.
If it does not work for you, I don't think it will hurt anything to try and it is kind of fun anyway. I don't have it on my computer now but if you are interested and look around, I am sure you can find it - "Scania Truck Driving Simulator".dennisroc, Panhandle flash, jaso37 and 2 others Thank this. -
Road test went good today kinda like that automatic and the T700. Hope everybody enjoyed their weekend

Is that the part where they have you drive around the back road and you call out all of the road signs that you see?
The trucks I learned on in CDL school where well maintained but they where like 12 to 15 years old. The oldest and worst trucks at TransAm looked like heaven compared to my CDL school trucks .. lol.gntorres61, HometimeQueen and dennisroc Thank this. -
You are right handed? I am right handed and now that you mention it, I kind of agree.

When I was in CDL school there was a road instructor, not mine but another guy who told the class "I have backed trailers so much, it is more difficult for me to back bobtail". I thought he was just being a kind of DB. Bragging to all the newbie students what a great backer he was ... he can do it so easy, it is more easy backing a trailer than backing bobtail...la de da. I owe him a mental apology as I now agree, he was right, I have to stop and think now how to back bobtail.wulfman75, dennisroc and HometimeQueen Thank this.
