That's because it's a Freightliner! That is one sharp truck, and I wish you good luck. My signature says it all.

You should throw that into the classified section, probably get more interest.

Pick up first load tomorrow. Spent $7500 buying the truck. Another $3200 on parts, $950 on tires and $1000 on labor. Then $1700 on taxes and base plates. First load (do two of these a week) 557 miles. $1450 line haul. Dry van. Back haul is half that. Hollar at me if you see me on i75 .

(Not expedite money by any means but the perks and the company is top shelf)

Wow. My head is still spinning. But in a good way I guess. Figured I'd update this thread...

The ole cabover has been very good to me but I failed it when I allowed my ex-mechanic to talk me into waiting a week to replace that output shaft seal on the front diff. The power divider bearings took a dump on me. Yay for new rears. 2.67 gears now, from 3.07. Perfect with that direct drive 10 speed.

Other than that it's been very reliable and inexpensive to operate. I've been pulling a step deck, a flat, a reefer and a van, all for the same company. I got lucky to find this gig as my first owner operator job.

Might be why the seal was leaking, the bearing was likely on its way out the door anyway.

My first ride was a coe international 9700. I gotta believe your frieghtliner rides better then that tin can.

It was cool backing into tight spots then watching super-truckers struggle to get into the next spot over. Almost miss that tin can.

Are the 1999 condo Argosy's aerodynamic ? I am all about fuel economy . Found one that has a M 11, 10 speed and a 3:08 rear end . I have researched and keep getting conflicting reports .
