Storm Lake is worse than usual due to construction, they are ripping up the road in front of guard shack. My load isn't ready yet so I am just watching TV and resting.

In NJ set up to make the final 2 deliveries tomorrow morning of a 4 stop load. I have a good backhaul preplan going from NJ to Omaha, pick-up tomorrow afternoon. Good run to finish out my week but I am worried if I can make it past the swap zone to keep it. Figure still many drivers who will need to get home for T-day and I will get picked to switch loads so they can get home. Time will tell.

 

HTQ, Mom is doing fair. Basically about the same...tired most of the time.
Good to hear how gamma's doing and that things are going well except for his knee....will pray for him. Good luck on that run, passport.

George has a 5 pm pickup in Worthington, MN to be delivered to Dallas,TX on Wednesday. If he gets a swap that heads him to NC, he wouldn't complain. Guess it could happen, but I'm not going to count on it.

 

Got to Worthington, trailer was put out of service and my load is not supposed to be loadedctoday and is supposed to be in Dallas on Wed. Guess not. Logging a 10 at the Holiday Truck Stop. Don't know, don't care. Too bad. They can call me when they figure it out.

 

Hope everyone is doing well! I got to Valdosta yesterday afternoon and did a three-way swap, both drivers were there. I ended up with an empty and hustled home. Staying home for a week then will be out for 6. I will be back out next Monday. Y'all stay safe!!

 

Well, I've had 2 short loads now, that didn't make me much money but did use up a lot of time. It happens and not going to be mad about it. Company is working really hard to make sure I get out of here tomorrow to start my vacation. Taking 8 or 9 days off.
Both my parents are gone but, I have this favorite aunt, who is the closest thing I have left. Her daughter is one of my favorite cousins. I've made sure I was down there for the last 2 years, and suspect I'll do the same till she's gone. Since she lives in La, you just know that it has to be warmer than where I've been at lately.

Jaso, bet I passed you today. Went right by Storm Lake twice today, on my way to Spencer and back to Omaha.

 

Sitting in Wisconsin watching it slow. Thought I was going to be blown into the air like that cow on Twister when I went past Benton Harbor today. A tad bit windy! Get to run back through that crap tomorrow when I head back to Taylor, MI.
