I getting insurance today, i registered my buisness and got my federal id, im about to send my application for my athourity but do i need both interstate and intrastate? Or im good with just interstate?

That wasnt my Volvo, it was my friends but i took care of it like it was mine...i got me a 2008 Kenworth that i got for a good deal... now my situation is complicated, i have a Federal Licence (mexican CDL) so its hard to lease to a company...

Thanks for the info, i got my Company registered in Texas, my Federal ID #, USDOT#, MC#, UCR, getting my insurance tomorrow(1000000 dollar policy), and a couple other things i need.

Some states, such as Texas, require intrastate authority if you pick up and deliver within their state borders. Not all states require intrastate authority. California is another state which requires intrastate authority for those picking up and delivering within the state. If you don't plan on doing that and only run interstate, then I would not worry about intrastate authority.
