    Oh my, where to start?:biggrin_2554:

If you are currently drawing unemployment, then you are doing it right, for sure!:biggrin_2559:

Maybe not for the first six months or so. But who knows what will happen? Maybe in 8 months you will have a new truck of your choosing! Pick of loads? Depends on the "relationship" between you and your dispatcher! ('nuff said. No, TOO MUCH said.):biggrin_25521: Amount of pay, is gonna be up to your "negotiation" skills!:biggrin_25525:

Yep. And he will demand that you call him "sir," and he will call you "son" or "sonny" even though you are 75 years older than he is!:biggrin_25510:

Does ANYBODY in Texas speak English? Nah, didn't think so.:biggrin_25522:

Keep knockin' on doors, one will eventually open for you.

And we will gladly answer ANY of your questions. Not to say we will answer them correctly, but we will answer them. One thing you can be sure of with a bunch of drivers, is that the words, "I DON'T KNOW" are seldom if ever heard!:biggrin_25523:

But you aren't nearly as likely to have some doping dirtbag stick a gun in your face at Schneider as you are working at a stop and rob!:biggrin_2551:

Um, NO, you don't want to even think about that. Have a chat with Crankee Yankee about them.:yes2557:

Actually the last 20+ years of my life have suited to to deal with this kind of thing better LOLOL. 8 years Military, 12 LEO, 5 Years Security Contractor Iraq. Mama said no more, find something that does not involve IED's or Durka Durka Jihadi's, so with my slight tinge of anti social its best to be by myself, TAAADAAA we have Truck Driving. Besides I think Smokey and The Bandit are the Bestes Movies Ever, except for Beeches and sleepless in Seattle.

Which is sad, since many that they hire that do have experience in the last three years couldn't drive a nail and the ones looking to get back into the biz probably forgot more than the others will ever know.

The dude has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to trucking companies. :biggrin_25520: So does a GOOGLE SEARCH with the right info input

Not sure of the AREA that ROOSTER is looking but if in TEXAS check with HALIBURTON , they are looking for drivers and would likely credit you with your overseas work or at least look at you favorably compared to other outfits.

I do think a driving, backing, pretrip test should determine whether he needs to go out with a trainer or not as well as a refresher course if the driver has so much exp.
