Ouch!! Maybe GMAC insurance should consider upgrading courses for a break in insurance for their customers? Might do a lot of us a big favor!!! lol It's been 20 years since I took my driving test - 26 actually - and I still know those answers. Sheesh!

I forgot to renew mine before my 30th bday and so I had to take the test again. I got 100% on the test, which really surprised me, because I didn't study the book. I hadn't taken the test since I was 16. So I figured that I would fail it. I guess that I didn't forget what I learned in drivers ed. :biggrin_2559:

Knowing the rules to pass a test is nothing. Most people don't have a clue about unspoken socially- responsible manners on the road. It's like none of these people ever had a Mama.

And Drivers are not exempt. If they didn't have manners BEFORE they got in a truck, they sure don't care about them AFTER they get in a truck. The rest of us have to sweep up behind them and make appologies for them, and dodge their dangerous, rude driving tactics.

Anytime you act like a child and act irresponsibly, you force everyone else to be responsible for you. That's not my job. It's enough that I have to be responsible for myself, but to have to look out for selfish, lazy babies too, is more than I signed up for.

There's no way to check if a driver is ready to hit the road. We just have to assume that they are a responsible part of society and that they naturally give back to it. What we're seeing, is 1 out of 3 drivers who can't be trusted to do their part to keep this planet from self-combusting, from failure to act as an adult out here on the road. No wonder four-wheelers disrespect us.

There ought to be a training phase to assure all of the rest of us Drivers out here, that you actually give-a sh-- and want to be a part of this sub-culture. If you don't want to 'do-the-right-thing,' then stay home. You can leave your garbage on the floor, in your own home!

    Thanks. I feel better now . . . . . . . . . . . .:biggrin_2552:

P.S. And how are these illegals passing our CDL tests, if they can't speak English? How is THAT happening? And how can we stop it? It is So-o-o destroying our nation!

Just because drivers have a CDL doesn't say that they can drive...Nor does a training program from a trucking company.

Our driving problems in this country is caused by ME. THAT IS WHAT EVERYONE THINKS ABOUT IS ME. I want everyone out of my way, because I'm important and I have places to go and things to do.
I'm more important then anyone else.

when we think about helping others we have less problems. So if everyone would just give a little on the road then there would be less of it's the truckdrivers fault. Also it would help if they knew the rules of the road.

two wrongs never make a right!!!

Yup. I would also add though, a cure for (Stupid) would help this country greatly.
