So i applied for the dedicated. Then they call me to go to orientation, I told the rep I needed something in writen before committing to go. They said they still needed some paperwork back and that they will call me. They call me back today, I asked for the same a conditional pre emploement paper from them, they said they checked my record and everything was good, mvr clean, employment verified, 1 non preventable coalition (I was hit while park at a loves), I told the rep the only thing I got on my record is a DOT out of service 23 pts right now, and th as the accident that was not my fault, but for me to quit my job and take a pay check cut going with them I needed something from them that I was getting that job position, I said I understand that you still need the road test drug test and fisical, but.that didn't concern me, what I needed was a paper to make jb hunt accountable if they didn't hire me for what I was going. He said they didn't do those papers, so with no commitment from jb hunt, I got no option but to decline going to orientation. I mean if I'm gonna quit a good at least I want them to commit to what they say, if it ain't in written it never happened. So I'm staying where I am.
hal380 Thanks this. -
I was talking to a fellow driver in NJ yesterday. I told him I loved my job, he said me too but keep it down, lol. Lots of us out here just don't want to admit it in public. -
They still have OTR but those guys get abused something awefull. They actually go to whatever account they are needed on. Their pay is usually lower and they are expected to take the crap loads that no one else wants.

We have about 90 drivers on my account. I know of 3 personaly that have almost 20 years in each.

I have to start by saying i don't work for JB Hunt yet but am going to start on the 15th of Sept. I am planning on doing the new Amazon account in Chattanooga. Does anyone know anything about it?

JB recruiters are running ads here in Florida for dedicated Wal-Mart. Georgia too. DC to DC and Wal-Mart vendors to DC's. $.41cpm. Out 14 days home for 2 schedule. Want drivers who live within 50 mile of a DC. It sounds like a good gig. I would be leery of working for a big company like JB though. If there are any drivers out there running this account would be nice to hear more about it.

Please tell me more about hunt. They have offered me a job on the dollar tree account in my home state of ky. It works great for me and I like everything the recruiter has told me. Thank you. You can email me or text or call. This is important to me. Rusty@rRusty@rustyfoley.com 859-582-6893
