Okay, so I'm buying a brand new cascadia. My questions are, what are the monthly expenses for maintaining a brand new truck?
I had 2008 Volvo, which was a nightmare; it was always in the shop. that is why I decided to buy a new truck, so the I'll have factory warranty.
Now I wanna be successful in owning this truck. I want to keep it maintained. I'm running in California, and I have my authority.
Thank you guys

Just remember WARRANTY does not cover lost revenue or expenses ( Motel , Food if broke down on the road ) for when the truck is in the shop , be sure to have some $ set aside

[h=2]Good brokers[/h]I own a 2015 freightliner cascadia and a 2014 dry van. My problem is I can't find any good brokers. I been using dat loadboard and I like it, but most of the companies there give you cheap loads. I been also contemplating on using those "get your money now," programs. Let me elaborate. You know how some loads take forever to pay? Well there are some companies that pay you right away, but they take a percentage. What do you guys think of them? And do you guys recommend any? What is the perfect dry van rate right now? What is the lowest dry van rate we should never take?
Looking for advice thank you all.

You already own one and You don't know ???
magoo68, stabob and rollin coal Thank this. -
The only expense as I see it is the routine services which are every 25,000 miles. And I'm rather picky as to who does the service.
If you do a google search on freightliner dealers I came across the site....elitenetwork.com and gave me a list of dealers who have the best qualifications to do service and warranty work. Including California.
Now that you've bought a new Cascadia, I'm sure you want to make sure the services are done right and in a timely manner, inc warranty work.
Good luck. -
How much is regular maintenance for new Cascadia ?
-
I am getting a 2016 Cascadia in February and I will tell you that the only real maintenance you should worry about is oil changes.
A lot of people will try and scare you about break downs etc.. and yes those may happen as with any truck but they are rare on new Cascadias so don't let that scare you.
Second, oil changes on that puppy typically are every 25 to 30k miles and id use synthetic which would run you perhaps 250 to 300 each.
Find a good company that will take a small percentage so you can actually make some money. I run with a company that pays me 90% of load right now on an older truck that I drive.
Don't let name sayers scare you. They are scared themselves and because they can't do something so they want to justify their cowardice. Just Do It. -

Get back to us after having it for a year an tell us how RARE it was Oh wait you do not even have it yet but are an EXPERT on them , I have 4 of them. And my comment to have some EXTRA $ regardless of it being under warranty is far from a COWARDICE COMMENT it is factual reality that too many learn the hard way.
Here is the FACTORY service schedule for the CASCADIA https://secure.freightliner.com/new...nance Manuals/cascadia maintenance manual.pdf
So you can see there is more than just changing the oil involved
