This company has really gone down the tubes. Guess preplan means get empty then wait for next load, get tired waiting so you call, "Oh you are mt, guess we will look for a load." So much for the pre part of preplan. Then there is the numerous breakdowns! And forget calling dispatch, they don't have time to talk to drivers. In fact, even the supervisors won't talk to drivers, my so called fleet manger "He wont call or talk to you!" So I guess drivers are supposed to be team players but are not treated as a valuable part of the team.

Too often a 2-3 day run is planned at 5 days, sit idle with load waiting for del appt! Forget layover pay too, it won't cover expenses while you are waiting for repairs or del/rec appt.

Sounds like you need to get into the office and get your concerns addressed. There is no reason why dispatch and supervisors are not answering phones or returning messages. Having 5 days to do a 2 or 3 day run is another concern, not only for you but for the company. Neither party can be making any money if utilization is that low. Depending on how they handle a face to face it's probably time to move on.

Sounds to me like they're busy doing things besides their jobs.

There telling you that they don't have any freight
without actually telling you. When OTR companies start
stretching 3 day loads over 5 days it's because they know
    they can't keep you moving.

The dispatchers are sick and tired of hearing
drivers complaining about no miles,so they
    dont answer the phone.

You can either stick it out and hope things
Turn around or clean out the truck!

    Mattnatti and mje Thank this.

actually there is plenty of frieght. but there is a serious conflict. they have o/o, company drivers, and brokerage. They just need to plan better.

So either they don't like you, or they think you're unreliable.
