Hi AM, a 4070 Transtar? Good Lord. I thought I saw you in that "Convoy" music/video. Truth be known, the 4070 was actually a pretty nice truck. I've driven several cabovers and the 4070 was the best. Rough riding (Reyco susp), but could back in anywhere, and with a "shiny 290" (300) BC Cummins and a 13, and I tell you what, that truck took a long time to get in the last gear, but it was like something in the pump opened up in 13th ( maybe) and that truck would go down and up with the rest of them. Not sure I'd want to team in one though.

Well on the bright side you will probably be the most experienced driver at Swift. I'd ask for some extra perks for that lol.

27 yrs exp could be a typo.I don't recall ever complaining about the equipment with any company as long as its DOT ready.Be thankful you have a job.I've had quite afew trks with small sleepers and the front was just as small.Did'nt bother me in fact small sleepers in my opinion are more comfy and cozy.
