I know coke and Pepsi (I'm guessing budweiser to) wouldn't have even checked your driving record until they've at least contacted you for a phone interview first.. If they aren't hiring they wont even acknowledge you applied other than possibly a form letter saying "thanks for the interest blah blah blah blah..."
Don't get too discouraged yet.. Stay positive

I will, thank you. Just feeling the pinch, I moved from Texas with my girlfriend to my sister's house and her family, and my girlfriend and I are starting to feel like burdens, and that they are ready for us to be gone already. So not getting a call back after a few days bothers me, when normally I would not mind it.
Chinatown Thanks this. -
Considering the companies, they probably have quite a few applications to sort through even after their computers weed out the undesirables.
Keep sending out applications. And bit of advise, if you can figure out how to contact for hiring, call them and introduce yourself. When I did hiring for a previous job, I always added a mark on that person's application. To me, it shows the "want" for a job.
Good luck! -
So until I have 7 post I can't PM, so I'll post it here.
There is a pepsi place near where Im staying, and they are hiring for a Relief Schedule Driver I keep applying, and get sent an email saying "Congratulations, we would like to invite you to answer some additional questions related to the Driver - Relief Schedule opening in Jedburg (Summerville), SC at Pepsi Beverages Company." After I click it I sign back on, and get. "We're sorry but you have been blocked from applying." -
And now to answer my own question just in case some one else stumbles upon this with a similar question. I was told it was some system glitch, and to disregard the email, and that my application is complete.

I'm sorry- you LEFT Texas.. My bad... The Pepsi website glitch sounds odd.. maybe you could pass by their plant and ask the secretary for an app and possibly even an on the spot interview.. That shouldn't happen but Pepsi is like any place else- right place, right time and you never know..
Also, PepsiCo takes forever to get thru the hiring process.. so don't get discouraged at the lack of communication from them.. -
Thank you. This website is awesome yall really seem to care about your fellow driver, or soon to be driver in my case. I will keep my head up, and hope that driving history can be over looked!
Vilhiem Thanks this. -
Did you have the option to go to traffic school to keep any of those tickets off your record? If so did you go? If not, why not?
Also, concerning your living situation....are you just laying around the house all day? Do you do the dishes? Mow the lawn? Laundry? Doing some chores may prolong your stay there. Are you currently working? If not, why not? You could flip burgers until you can find a driving job. Best of luck! -
Oh no Im out looking for a job, I do what ever tasks they ask of me, and I doubt they would kick me out. Im an over thinker, so I could be over thinking it all. I did an online traffic school for the stop sign. I don't have a job because I was focusing all my time on trucking school, and now that I have my CDL, I dont think it would be best to land a job flippin burgers, just for the next day quit. Not the best reason I guess, but there is you why. Thanks for responding!
